Love shoes: check.
Always have room for another pair: Check.
Big on DIY: Um....not so much.
But a clever craft that's all about fancy footwear may change that. Wandering through Barnes & Noble, I spied a box labeled "Fabulous Shoes." It promised 20 pairs of high heels for well under $20; a single red stiletto was positioned tantalizingly behind the plastic cover.
The kit contains press-out paper shoes, a step-by-step instruction book and ideas for decorating and embellishing your tiny treasures.
It could be the perfect bonding experience for shoe-aholic moms and their budding fashionistas. Or you could send the little darlings off with a box of crayons and a princess coloring book, and keep this fun for yourself.
Note: Last I checked -- which was last night -- there were several kits available at the Barnes and Noble in Warwick, but none for sale on their site. You can, however, order it online from Amazon.
